April 15, 2011 June 16, 2011 Sep 15, 2011 Jan 15, 2012 Top When will organizers be mailed? We usually try to prepare and have your organizer mailed prior to Jan 15th. If you want an organizer and have not received it by that date, please phone our office at (616) 742-1300. Top Should I respond to an IRS email? Absolutely not. The IRS will never contact you via email. The email that you receive that appears to be from the IRS is actually sent by "scamsters" which are trying to trick unsuspecting victims into revealing their personal financial information. Usually the victim is lured in by the promise of a tax refund. If you receive an email that appears to be from the IRS you should forward it to the Service at their new mailbox at phishing@irs.gov.
